How to get to the hotel Les Hautes Mers
In the car
The hotel is accessible by car to the ferry terminals, where public parking is available to leave your vehicle before the crossing.
From Nantes or La Roche-sur-Yon: About a 1 hour and 15 minute drive to the port of Fromentine, then a 30 minute crossing.
From Les Sables-d’Olonne: About 1 hour's drive to the port of Saint-Gilles-Croix-de-Vie, then 1 hour crossing.
From Paris: About 4h30 drive to Fromentine, then a 30-minute crossing.
The hotel has free parking for guests, including disabled parking. Bicycles are available to explore the island of Yeu, the beaches, and the typical villages.
On the train
The nearest train station is Nantes, located about a 1 hour and 15 minute drive from the port of Fromentine.
From La Roche-sur-Yon train station: approximately 1 hour 15 minutes drive to Fromentine.
Taxis, VTCs (private hire vehicles), and car rental services are available at the train stations to reach the ferry terminal. The ferry crossing to the Île d'Yeu takes approximately 30 minutes.
By plane
The nearest airport is Nantes-Atlantique, located about 1 hour and 15 minutes from the port of Fromentine.
Shuttles and taxis are available from the airport to reach the pier, then allow for approximately a 30-minute boat crossing to access the Island of Yeu.
On a boat
L'Île d'Yeu is served year-round by regular ferry services from several ports on the Vendée coast.
From Fromentine (La Barre-de-Monts): approximately a 30-minute fast boat crossing.
From Saint-Gilles-Croix-de-Vie: approximately 1 hour crossing time.

The bistronomic restaurant Vent Debout is open from Thursday lunch to Monday evening, accessible to external clientele, by reservation only. The menus change with the seasons and arrivals, and gastronomic experiences highlighting local produce are organized throughout the summer.

Facing the Atlantic, the Spa Alaena of the High Seas is open every day and also accessible to outside clients, by reservation. In this place bathed in the energy of the ocean, skin science and natural cosmetology meet to offer treatments that are both effective and deeply sensory.

Privatization
For a corporate event such as a seminar, a wellness retreat, or a private celebration, we offer our reception spaces, the Vent Debout restaurant, our Spa, the hotel's terrace, and garden, all privatizable upon request. The reception room, located in the main building, opens onto the ocean and provides a bright setting conducive to discussions. The bistronomic restaurant, Vent Debout, also facing the sea, can be privatized to host your lunches and dinners in an elegant and friendly atmosphere, infused with the island spirit of Île d'Yeu.
